Late in the afternoon on 5 March 2019 The Western Province Rugby Union announced that a past Kidd House pupil will replace a past Ogilvie House pupil as the new head coach of the Stormers in the Super Rugby Championship. Die Burger newspaper was one of the first media platforms to break the news. The OD Union would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to Robbie Fleck (1993O) for his dedicated service and leadership of the Stormers. Robbie's contract comes to a conclusion at the end of the year. Congratulations are also due to John Dobson (1985K), who will be taking over the reins from Robbie.
