The ODU proudly announces that three of its rising stars Haashim Pead (2023O), Galermo Mentoe (2023S),  and Aiden Norris (2023M), have earned selection into the wider SA Academy squad for the upcoming training camp in Stellenbosch.

For Pead, Mentoe, and Norris, this opportunity is both an honour and an intense challenge. They join an elite group of young players across South Africa, all vying for a place in the national team and the chance to represent their country at an international level. Pead, in particular, has shown his promise on the field, previously representing South Africa’s U18 team, where his performance in high-stakes matches has made a lasting impact. His recent try-scoring contributions in international youth fixtures underscore the potential he brings to the academy squad.
