Half-time team talk.

The Cobras were formed in 2006 as a social rugby side, looking to play social rugby. However, this was not the case in the end, as the Cobras soon stamped their name all over UCT’s Steinhoff Internal League with their brand of fast-paced and aggressive running rugby.

Today there are very many ODs who play for the side.

The side is captained ny Tom Liefeldt,

Here’s a photo of a half time team talk.

The final is on the 30th of August at UCT, and it looks likely they will be playing the Nadoes, the Rondebosch Old Boys team.

It should be a really exciting fixture - the ODA Dr Paul Murray is planning to be there in support.

Tom writes: "I am incredibly proud of the team for their dedication and commitment throughout the season. Our team, consisting mainly of Bishops OD's, has once again demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork, leading us to the final for the second consecutive year. We take great pride in being the top try-scoring team in the league, showcasing an expansive running rugby style that Bishops made famous. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and spirit of every player on the team. We look forward to giving our best performance in the final and hopefully winning the trophy for the second year in a row, whilst continuing to uphold the legacy of the Cobras."
