The OD Union would like to congratulate William Esau (2004S) on guiding RC Rottweiler to a 2nd place finish in the Bundesliga 2 South division, the second tier of German rugby.

William, serving as the head coach of the club's 1st XV, set the goal for promotion this year.

Initially, this seemed out of reach as the team finished second, with only the first place team earning automatic promotion.

However, when a team withdrew from the Bundesliga 1, a new opportunity arose. Despite the renewed hope, RC Rottweiler narrowly lost the two crucial play-off games .

Nonetheless, the team demonstrated great effort and dedication.

Reflecting on the season, William is optimistic about the future, noting the strong cohesion developing within the team. He believes it won't be long before they achieve their ultimate goal.

The side will continue competing in the Bundesliga 2 South division in the upcoming 24/25 season.

The OD Union wishes William and his team all the very best for the future.
