Our ODs are doing well on the international stage at the moment.

  • Michael Houlie made it through to the 50m breaststroke Final at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.  Michael finished second in the 50m breaststroke semi-final, touching the wall in 27.39 and finished fourth in the men's Final.  A very tight race with only 0.4 seconds away from a podium finish.  READ MORE ABOUT MICHAEL HERE
  • James Murphy was part of the Blitzbokke Sevens Team representing South Africa that enjoyed a convincing victory against Fiji.  Interestingly, hockey was where James got his speed.  It was his main school sport when he was at school.  He didn't play rugby until after he left. • Dillon McEvoy was chosen to represent Ireland at the European Trail Running Championships at La Palma. READ MORE ABOUT DILLON HERE

  • Our three ODs representing South Africa for Hockey at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham are:
    • Dayaan Cassiem (2017W)
    • Mustapha Cassiem (2020W)
    • Ryan Julius (2013K)

Congratulations to all these athletes/sportsmen on these remarkable achievements and wishing all of them well for their remaining events!
