The OD Committee would like to encourage ODs across the world to consider joining the ODU Committee to serve for the period March 2023 up to and including the AGM of 2024.

The ODU ideally would like 11 new people to join the Committee.  All 12 spots are open as the one remaining committee member, Caelim Parkes, will need to be re-elected. The other eligible candidates, Graham Thomas, Niall Carroll and Nicky Bicket, from the UK, have indicated that they will sadly not be seeking re-election

All the SA members have to stand down as well as the French representative as they have served their term.

We want to invite ODs to nominate candidates for election as members of the OD Union Committee.

Below is an outline of the current committee that explains the structure of the committee and its subcommittees.  It also includes the roles of the core committee and provides an idea of the time commitment related to being part of the committee.

Timelines:

• The deadline for nominations is 16 February 2023.
• The list of candidates will be published on the OD Union website from 20 February 2023.
• Voting for candidates will commence on 23 February 2023 and will conclude thirty minutes after the conclusion of business at the AGM on 9 March 2023.
