In addition to being open to past pupils (of at least one year) of Bishops Diocesan College, LEAP1, Herschel Girls School, St George’s Grammar School and St Cyprian’s School, the following students may apply for the Diocesan College and Partner Schools Rhodes Scholarship:
SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF:
-Members of present and past academic and support staff of the five schools (Bishops Diocesan College, LEAP1, Herschel Girls School, St George’s Grammar School and St Cyprian’s School) who have served or will serve for at least five years;
-Present and past parents at the said five schools who have, or have had, or will have a daughter/son at the school for at least five years;
-Present and past members of Council of the five schools who have served for at least five years;
Alumnae/-I of the five schools where such daughter/son was educated in South Africa for at least five years.
AS PER THE RESOLUTION FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP AS CONFIRMED BY THE DIOCESAN COLLEGE COUNCIL ON 27 OCTOBER 2018 AND APPROVED BY THE RHODES TRUST.
For those intending to apply for the 2022 Rhodes Scholarship for post-graduate studies at Oxford University, you are invited to attend a virtual Information session, where we will provide details and answer any questions you may have about the Rhodes Scholarships for Southern Africa.
