Starting your high school career is a daunting task in itself. Starting your high school career as a boarder is even more so. Having moved to Bishops, Founders specifically, in 2014 from Somerset West, I can confirm this.
While this move is not a large one at all, most of those boys who board at Bishops, are moving from remote places or even different countries, with vast cultural differences. Arriving at Founders, School House or White House can be somewhat intimidating then.
After giving it a chance, however, these boarding houses can become a place of reassurance and calm. Attending Founders is without a doubt one of my fondest memories of my childhood. An experience I will never forget. Watching the video below, brought those memories flooding back.
