Reunions

On Saturday, Jack Graham (2018B) and I hosted the Bishops Diocesan College 5-year reunion at The Mitre (Old Diocesan Union Bishops). The turnout was fantastic, with the evening brimming with laughter, reminiscences, and the revival of cherished connections. While it's unconventional for Bishops to prompt for a reunion at the 5-year mark, Jack and I felt it was a great opportunity, considering the transformative phase many of us find ourselves in—venturing into the professional world and embracing new horizons.

Our tastebuds were spoilt as we enlisted Brash Burgers to serve their renowned Smash Burgers, run by OD Benji Fisher (2019M). To set the mood and keep the energy high, we hired the talents of Cape Town DJ, Rosco, whose tunes started subtly and gradually coaxed everyone onto the dance floor. Amidst shared laughter and recollections, many of us wandered through the halls of our old stomping ground, reliving the countless remarkable moments we once shared.

It seemed fitting to cap off the evening with a visit to Foresters Arms, where beer towers flowed freely as we continued to relive the nostalgia.

Overall, the event was a resounding success! A big thanks to those that attended. May this reunion serve as a catalyst for forging new connections and reigniting old friendships.
