April: A Time of Reflection and Renewal Across Many Faiths

May you and your families continue to experience blessings in the season ahead.

The Easter weekend is a sacred time in the Anglican calendar and lies at the heart of the Bishops community. As Christians around the world commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are reminded of themes of hope, renewal, and grace that are central to the school’s tradition and ethos.

This month is also a significant and sacred time for many others, and we warmly acknowledge the richness of faith traditions represented within the broader OD community:

  • Easter on Sunday, 20 April 2025
  • Passover / Pesach that begins the evening of Saturday, 12 April and ends tonight, Sunday, 20 April 2025
  • Hanuman Jayanti and Vaisakhi, 14 April 2025

It is remarkable that across so many cultures and belief systems, this season carries messages of hope, freedom, and renewal.

To all who observed sacred days over this April period, we hope it was a time of meaning, peace, and joy. May you and your families continue to experience blessings in the season ahead.
