John's son, Robert (1975F) reported: "My father, John Ferrandi, died on Monday 16th September 2019. He matriculated in 1948 and was in fact instrumental in organizing a reunion for his class plus wives/ widows earlier this year. Apart from me he is survived by my three sons, Matthew (2009G), Simon (2011G) and Paul (2013G) as well as his nephew, Christopher (1976S) and his son, Dee (2011F). We are all ODs. There should be a notice in the Cape Times today.
 
Funeral service will be at Christchurch Kenilworth cnr Richmond and Summerley Roads, Kenilworth on 27th September at 2pm."
