Nicky Bicket (F, 1973) has been appointed to conduct the strategy review process for the OD Union. Nicky has an undeniable passion and care for the OD Union, often supporting with surveys, analysis, magazine content and started and now oversees the OD mentoring programme. Nicky is a management consultant by day and is also the secretary of the UK branch of the ODU. He is perfectly suited considering his skills, knowledge and experience.
Nicky will start work in the coming week and will send out his own communication to ODs with a timetable of how this work stream will unfold. This will be a transparent and very broad consultative process and we will be asking ODs from around the world for their input. The process will include workshops and questionnaires as well as incorporating the results of our February engagement survey. The process will run in parallel with the work being carried out by the Standing Committee. The objective is to finalise the new strategic plan and have this presented at the next AGM 2020.
