Release of Council Election Results By The ODC

The newly elected ODC for 2025/2026 resolved (per Resolution 4, unanimously passed) in its first meeting on March 6th to release the results of the ODU's election for its nominations to the Bishops Council (conducted in 2024)

This decision has been made to prioritise transparency for the benefit of the Bishops Council as well as the members of the ODU.

In light of this information and the election results, the ODC has formally nominated Andy Wood (1977G) and Steve Ciolli (1993W) to fill the existing two vacancies on the Council.

We hope that having these elected ODs serve on Council will further enable the communication between the Council and the alumni body and, with that, strengthen their contribution to the growth of the school they are so proud of.

The highlighted candidates (in bold below) are those that the Council Nominations Committee ultimately accepted and appointed to the Council.

A total of 2062 votes were cast, from 669 ODs (average of 3.2 per OD), and the list below is in rank order of their votes received:

1  Andy Wood (1977G)  - 256 votes (12%)
