On Thursday 21 November 2024, pproximately twenty-five Old Diocesans, Old Andreans and Old Michaelhousians met at The Mitre to connect and engage.
The purpose was to socialise. Refreshments and comestibles were served.
It was a beautiful summer's evening with sweeping views across to the school.
This is the first of these gatherings planned, organised by the ODA Paul Murray and the OA Club, by Bridget Rippon (daughter of a long-serving member of the Bishops Staff, Melvyn Wallis-Brown), and Kyle Dutton from Michaelhouse.
The evening commenced at around 5.30PM. Guests enjoyed each others' company some staying well into the evening.
Attending were Martin Bey (1990B) the ODU Chair and Richard Levesque from the OAC as well as their Chair Mila Mafanya.
Apart from these gatherings with OAs and OMs, there are events planned for Friday nights, once a month, for ODs to meet at The Mitre.
