Class of 1991

Damon Crowhurst (1991F) has now settled into Noordhoek with his family of 3 children and after being in the screen display business where he headed up Samsung Europe. He is now involved in helping technology companies grow their global revenues through his business, Lekker Global.

His story started at Bishops when he was 11 in Standard 4.  Life took him to London after graduating from Rhodes University, where his first job was making the beds for the homeless shelter in Finchley road, but he swiftly moved on to painting and decorating burnt out restaurants.

Playing touch rugby for the telecoms company NTL soon led to his first job in technology, where he was one of 3 founders of a digital signage software company that was sold to American corporation AMX, and from there he finished at Samsung 2 years ago.

His passion these days combines his knowledge of display technology and software, with digital art. He launched Lekker Gallery in London in October 2024 during London's Frieze week.

This February he will be hosting his second digital art show during Cape Town Art Week in the Ferrari dealership at the Waterfront.

The showcase is open the public on 21st and 22nd February between 10am to 4pm.

For those ODs particularly interested, Damon would like to extend an invite to the Friday or Sat VIP evenings between 6-8pm where wines will be served courtesy of Ormonde Wines from the Basson family.

Please RSVP on Damon@lekker.global as VIP evening spaces are limited and going quickly.  Alternatively you can pop in at your leisure between the hours of 10am and 4pm.

Everything of the best in your new adventure here in South Africa.
