Counsell twins Matthew and Timothy (2008M) team-up in the property sector

The Counsell twins, Matthew and Timothy (2008M) have joined forces in the property sector with the aim of making a lasting impact on the property market in South Africa and abroad.

Timothy writes: "After graduating with a BSc. Property Studies Degree (UCT) and carrying out an internship at JHI Properties, I relocated to Johannesburg to gain experience in the property management industry with Growthpoint and JHI Properties (Centurion). After a few years of strengthening my foundation and expanding my knowledge base of the fundamental principles of property management, I decided to join Broll Auctions and Sales in July 2016. I have since been exposed to various aspects of the property sector and to date have sold a diverse range of key property assets on a national level. My brother, Matthew, decided to join the Broll team in 2018 where we have since partnered with the aim of assisting clients with their property requirements across South Africa. We have great belief in what we do and are extremely passionate about having a positive impact on people's lives through the incredible vehicle of real estate."

Matthew writes: "After undergoing an internship with Metropolitan Health and completing a BSc. Property Studies Honours Degree (UCT), I too made the exciting move to the City of Gold - the land which promises to transform dreams into reality. My career in Johannesburg commenced when I joined Nedbank Property Finance in 2015. Once qualifying as a Professional Associated Valuer, the time was ripe for our partnership to finally take form. In 2018 I joined Broll Auctions Auctions and Sales and have not looked back since. What a great journey it has been thus far."

They write: "We are immensely blessed to have eachother as twin brothers and best friends, but also to have the privilege of working alongside one another as business partners in an industry that we both love. Together, we have stepped forward with the intention of having a lasting and positive impact on the property market in South Africa and abroad. Should you have any property acquisition or disposal requirements please do not hesitate to contact us as we would like to assist with the materialisation of your strategic objectives."
