After reading of Kit Robertson's (1949F) 90th birthday on the 6th May 2021, Peter Trew (1949F) wrote in to make contact with his old Founders study partner. Unfortunately, we have not been able to make contant with Kit, if you have an updated email address for him, please let us know so that we can keep him connected with his classmates and the OD Union.
Peter was kind enough to send in the only photo he had of the two of them together. The photo was taken from the Cape Times Weekend Magazine in February 26th 1949, covering the Bishops Centenary and features Hubert Kidd teaching one of the 1949 Matric classes. In the second row from the window is Lionel Opie (with spectacles) and is immediately in front of HJK. Behind him is Kit Robertson and behind Kit is Peter, with a pencil nearly in his mouth and head leaning to the left.
