Kieran McLeod (2010O) reports: "Check Miguel Da Costa (2010B) out there teaching us abelungu (and others) the languages of our fellow countrymen. Friends, if you’re interested in learning (or improving) isiZulu or isiXhosa, check out Uthini!"

Miguel is the Co-founder and COO of Uthini, a person-to-person language learning platform that makes learning a new language as simple as messaging a friend. The platform has everything one needs in order to learn a language (from content, curriculum, tutor, practice partner, progress tracker) available via chat messaging (text, voice note, image, video). Almost anyone with a smartphone can learn and almost anyone with a smartphone and a good grasp of their home language can tutor.

"We invite you to partner with us as we pursue our mission of bringing meaningful access to the value of language to everyone, everywhere." says Miguel. Please contact us at: [email protected] for more information.
