Ryall’s witness cricket history!

A legacy of Founders ODs were lucky enough to witness this year’s historic Cricket World Cup Final at the home of cricket, Lords, in London.

Richie Ryall (1977F) (left), Stephen Ryall (2012F) (middle) and Jeremy Ryall (2014F) (right) watched on as the show piece event ended in a draw after the allotted 50 overs. Both New Zealand and England finished on 241 runs.

A super over was played to decide the winners however after England posted 15 runs off 6 balls, no one would have thought New Zealand would match this total. More boundaries scored in regulation time was the deciding factor, handing the trophy to a very relieved
England team!
