We recently had our Annual Eastern Canada OD gathering in Ancaster, Ontario for a sumptuous braai or what the locals call a potluck!

John Hueton gave us an excellent update on his recent attendance at the World High School Debating Championships, in which a team of boys from Bishops won several accolades. John in dashing to keep up with the boys, slipped and injured himself at Hart House, University of Toronto where he was treating the boys to lunch. Thankfully John is OK, however he wrote the Chancellor of U of T because this type of fall has happened numerous times according to the Manager on duty. I also had a chance to briefly connect with the Bishops Debating Team and John Holtman, on their second night in the city when I took them to one of the top Thai restaurants in the "6ix". It was great to meet these lads and on behalf of the ODs here in Ontario we wish them great success in their matric year and future careers!
