Leavers of the Class of 1998/9 meet in Sydney.

Great to see ODs around the world connecting.

Recently, several ODs met to celebrate their 1988/9 Leavers' year.

They met in Sydney, Australia (New South Wales Branch).

Gareth Davies the OD Secretary of Queensland travelled to Sydney to join his colleagues.

In the photograph, Left to Right, are: the ODs celebrating at a local venue:

Dale Ellis (1998W), Gareth Davies (1998K), Scott Lawrence (1998S), Dale Jackson (1998F), Wayne Hall (1999O), the next person in the photograph is a guest of Dale Ellis, and Walt Voigt (1998G).

Jonathan Jackson (1991S) recently stood down as the Branch Secretary of New South Wales.  We are pleased to announce that the new Secretary for New South Wales is Wayne Hall.

The OD Chair and ODA wrote to Jonathan on 30 July thanking him for his services as the Secretary.  Staying in the position was challenging for him as he travels extensively.  We thank Jonathan on behalf of all ODs, for his services to the ODU and wish him well.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish Wayne all the best for the new challenge.

Gareth Davies, the Queensland Branch Secretary has been very active in promoting events in Australia (see elsewhere on the ODU website).

On behalf of the ODU, we extend our heartfelt thanks to ODs who act in the capacity as Branch Secretary/Representative, enabling ODs to connect and engage.

We thank ODs around the world and locally for their continued commitment to their Union.
