Tando Mnukwana (1991W) reports: "I recently enjoyed the privilege of breaking bread over lunch with Jimmy Winfield (1992K) at Forries Newlands - a privilege indeed for any student to enjoy the unfettered company of their lecturer! Jimmy’s humility is such that he still recognizes me as his elder from our schooling days, and so we are having this to-and-fro where I as elder drop the occasional ‘Sir’ to get his attention in class, and of course, to much protestation from Jimmy. I have returned to UCT as full-time student to connect the dots and to follow a Bachelor of Business Science in economics and law. Jimmy has restored my love for accounting and studying in general with his exceptional and compassionate teaching methods – a most distinguished teacher! Having experienced his amazing lectures first-hand, I could not help but share with everyone this incredible journey. Steadfastly forging ahead in faith, hope, love, and with our future in capable hands!"
