Jon is a former Sunday Times investigative journalist turned PI, who has now retired. While working as a PI, Jon was tasked with looking into the dread disease (life insurance) scam perpetrated by Dr Waynne Lieberthal and his gang. Jon's 600-page report for the insurance companies involved was the basis for his latest book about South Africa's worst-ever surgeon; The Butcher of Rosebank. The book is also an indictment of the Health Professions Council for allowing him to maim so many people when he should have been struck off for life a lot earlier, says Jon. At the age of 14, the girl on the cover was put into a wheelchair for life by Lieberthal’s butchery.
The book will only be available through Jon at R250 each. If you are interested in buying one email Jon at [email protected]
