Brendon Dennewill (1986W) writes: I attended the Drakensberg Boys Choir School in KZN prior to going to my last three years of highschool at Bishops. I didn't realize at the time, in the 1980s, that not far from where I was at school, there were kids who didn't have a school to go to.
It's now 2021, and many kids in the rural part of KwaZulu Natal, near my middle school, still don't have a school to go to.
I'm proud that the organization I joined the board of, Africa Classroom Connection, has provided the funding to build 109 classrooms in that area.
Unfortunately, our partners in South Africa, the Eshowe Community Action Group (ECAG), still have a waiting list for over 100 classrooms, so now we cannot slow down on our fundraising.
Even $100 goes a long way, as these classrooms only cost $12,000.00 each, to build. If you can help by making a small donation or sharing this fundraiser with people who are passionate about kids' education, every little bit helps.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
