OD Rugby Club

Last weekend (13 - 14 August), Bishops learners, staff, parents, OD's, and friends participated in the second 24 Hour Cycle Challenge to raise funds for VUSA Rugby and Learning Academy.

The event, sponsored by Investec, was a massive success and riders raised over R530,000. Teach participant cycled in teams of 6 (and more), all keen to stand a chance of winning one of the fantastic prizes donated by the incredibly generous sponsors.

It was a wonderful weekend and incredible to see the community come together for VUSA. Summed up beautifully by Grade 11 learner, Trent Lambrechts:

" I am happy to be cycling and ultimately sharing my love of rugby with other children". Thank you to each and every person who supported the event.
