Membership as an honorary member in the ODU is a special acknowledgment and an honour that is not bestowed lightly. In a first of it's kind ceremony during College assembly, Martin Bey (1990B), Chairman of the ODU, recently welcomed a special group of honorary members to their number. These individuals, while not alumni themselves, have served the school and indirectly the ODU for more than a decade.
To celebrate their induction, the women were presented with elegant ODU scarves, and the men with distinguished OD ties, symbolising their valued place within the ODU.
While they may not share the same memories as those who walked the halls as Bishops’ students, they have nevertheless shared in the journey of countless students and alumni. Whether through coaching, mentoring, serving, or quietly supporting behind the scenes, these individuals have shown what it means to be part of the Bishops family.
The handing over of scarves and ties signifies the appreciation and gratitude that the ODU holds for these dedicated individuals.
Welcome to the ODU!
