OD Connector' is a collective term for ODs willing to assist in building the ODU community, helping to connect ODs with each other, enable global OD engagement within the ODU and to assist the ODU in achieving its strategic objectives. Their efforts can be directed toward any chosen subset of ODs according to where a connector's interest lies e.g. geographical, sports or interest-based, or school year, the office or getting involved in ODU projects to build connections and value across the global community. The ODU welcomes all ODs who'd like to get involved.



These ODs include but are not limited to, members of the ODC, branch secretaries, sub committees, working groups, club managers, OD mentors and active year group representatives from all over the world. Any OD who wishes to maintain and grow the ODU network or share news from the OD Community can gain knowledge here of the inner workings of the ODU and participate. Every small effort is valuable and appreciated.



The OD Connectors will actively participate in discussing, defining and enabling the finer detail and implementation of the ODU strategy. This platform has the functionality to share knowledge between OD Connectors, to show what other OD Connectors are doing, to foster OD engagement and to encourage more of the same. The OD Office will publish and maintain ODU strategic objectives on this group, publish short ‘how to’ tutorials and post requests to OD connectors from time to time.



The primary objective is to share knowledge - in an informal manner and to enable OD to connect. Whilst most will operate independently of each other, and their efforts will vary according to desire and capacity, this group acts as a knowledge base for aligning our engagement methods and ODU objectives.
